Gold Basin Arizona. is located near the south shore of Lake Mead National Park. Two hour drive from Las Vegas Nevada or a
one hour drive from Kingman Arizona.
This area of the state was Arizona's most important gold district for nearly forty years. The population and mining peaked between 1915
and 1924 and then revived during the Great Depression. The total production of the district is in excess of 2 million ounces. Today the
area has been overlooked by the large mining companies and has been left to the weekend prospector.
GGPT is inviting you to come and get some of this gold for yourself. Every deposit is good for a one family day trip. We supply the
tools you'll need and you take the gold home.
Your deposit also gets you a
GGPT panning kit to work the concentrates you take home. You keep all the gold
you find.

Every adventure starts at daylight when everyone meets where the paved road ends.
As soon as everyone shows up, we leave for the gold claim. The roads are mostly graded and are easily traversed with a two
wheel drive vehicle.
Once at the claim, Bowser will give a brief description of the habits of gold and how to spot likely places to look for gold
in streams or dry washes.
Then pick a spot. GGPT will supply you a shovel, classifier and bucket with every deposit.
Use these tools to fill your bucket and Bowser will use the dirt to show you how to operate a dry washer and a recirculating sluice.
Then take the concentrates and Bowser will show you how to do the clean up show you how to use your gold pan to recover the gold you
found. Now it is up to you to run all the dirt you can for the rest of the day and take the concentrates home to practice panning later.
Schedule your prospecting trip today. This Gold could have been yours.
