  Hello fellow prospector,

  I’ll bet you are wondering just who is GRUNT Gold Prospecting Tools, other wise known as GGPT.

  GGPT is a small group of prospectors like yourself that have in the past came across problems with the standard mining tools.

  Have you ever found a spot with good gold that you wanted to dig and the tool you brought didn’t have enough hose to reach form the water supply to the hole.

  How about the standard sluice where you spend one half of your day carrying your dirt all of the way down to the stream and the popular Dry Washer used when there is no water to be found. It fills the air with dust and only works on the driest days.

  Have you used one of those gold pan sized classifiers? Place a small scoop of dirt in it and shake, spin, bounce, then lift it out of the bucket and dump. I’ll tell you that after a full day of classifying your dirt with one of those you are lucky to have any strength left to pan.

  But, not any more! Our small group of prospectors was sitting around the old panning tub one day panning out the concentrates from a previous trip and decided to design a set of new tools that would run more material in less time and in any weather condition.

  As soon as they designed and built their new recirculating sluice, they took it out to be tested and everyone who seen it wanted one.

  With the money from the first few sales, we bought some new tools and started to produce more of the Grunt Recirculating Sluices to keep up with the growing demand. The new tools also gave us the opportunity to produce for sale our Grunt Cub Classifier and other tools we have designed.

  In 2004 we teamed with VBE.us and started to design this website in hopes of helping more gold prospectors enjoy our tools.
